Why the Hodgepodge Kitchen?

My name is Michelle Harkless, I live in a small Colorado town called Eaton, just outside of Eaton anyway. Tomorrow, I celebrate 500 days of sobriety. It has been on my heart and mind to start a blog, even though technology and I don’t exactly get along. I’m starting one anyway. It is my hope that by sharing the things I’ve been through, am going through, and will go through, maybe I can help someone. Maybe there are some kindred spirits out there who are navigating sobriety, faith, managing a home, or even fellow restaurant cooks who are trying to figure out their next steps, anyone out there who can relate. That’s what this blog is about. It’s about figuring out my next steps in life, and sharing what I’ve learned and am still learning along the way. Being new to this whole blog thing, I don’t know how often I will post here, but I think the more practice I get, the better. Google says the definition of Hodgepodge is a confused assortment of things; a jumble. That describes my life perfectly. So I’ve started a blog… What’s the worst that can happen?
